About Us

Founded in 2010, the Celebration Community Chorus was born out of a desire to bring the magic of music to our town and its residents. We are a non-auditioned ensemble that welcomes talented singers from Celebration and across Central Florida, offering everyone—from beginners to seasoned performers—a warm, inviting space to share their musical gifts.

Our Community and Impact
Deeply woven into the fabric of our town, the Chorus is honored to participate in Celebration’s most cherished events. Twice annually, we join the Veteran's Club of Celebration to sing at the Memorial Day and Veteran's Day ceremonies, celebrating the legacy of those who have served and the enduring spirit of our community. We take pride in being a part of a town that reveres its past while looking forward to a vibrant future.

Performance Highlights
Our performance calendar reflects the diversity and passion of our repertoire. Each year on July 3rd, our Patriotic Concert ignites the Independence Day festivities with music that honors American composers and our country’s service members. As the holiday season approaches, our Christmas and Holiday concert—held on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend—fills the air with themes of family, peace, and festive cheer. In the spring, we alternate between classical and pops-themed concerts, even venturing into commissioned works that challenge and inspire us. One of our most memorable experiences was the 2019 trip to Paris, where we joined choirs from across the nation to perform masterpieces by composers such as Vivaldi and Faure—an experience highlighted by the moving performance of Faure’s music in the historic church of La Madeleine.

Their generosity not only sustains our concerts but also enriches the cultural life of our community. As the founder and conductor, I, Kristopher Schave, am continually inspired by the talent and dedication of our members. Every rehearsal is a reminder of how fortunate I am to lead this incredible chorus and to witness the power of music bringing people together.
